The trails are finally clear, just in the past few weeks, so the long runs have moved back into the woods-- a 2 hr 30 min effort up Mt Lincoln and back; and a shorter jaunt up Mt Orient this morning. The achilles has permitted some harder efforts-- 400's and a few road tempos. I'll try to lengthen the workouts and add more mountain biking in the next month before a more serious Base phase for May and June.
